SANCTUARIES NEAR VOINOVO

 

            The fourth, the north sacred sanctuary is located near village Voinovo. Near by from the well kelp road Alphatar-Kaynardja.
          This includes the cave and the altar in the foot of the hill, where are discovered Thracian ceramics. The location is saturated with rare cliff rocks and naturals phenomenon. Close to the sanctuary there is a cave which was used for a cell by monks-hermits   from   the X c. a. c.
